About Us
FOUNDERS
Hello, welcome to CFC Youth! We are a youth-led organization with the goal of improving living standards in our home country: Colombia. We want to use our education and opportunities to aid those less fortunate.

Claudio Amaya
Hi! My name is Claudio Amaya, and I'm a senior at Colegio Los Nogales in Bogota, Colombia. Throughout my life, I've lived back and forth between Colombia and the United States. I've gotten to intimately know both countries, and I've learned to take the best from each place. I've been lucky enough to have an amazing education, which is why I want to use it to improve the lives of others. I've been helping the Kogi since I was 12, and I've grown to really appreciate their culture. A fun fact about me is that I love soccer!

Sebastien Deseglise
Hello, I'm Sebastien Deseglise, I'm French and Colombian and attend the LFNY in New York City. I'm very fortunate to have grown up in a family that does a lot of philanthropic work. Growing up in this altruistic environment, I wanted to follow suit and help those in need. Having always been vocal about the environmental crisis, this was a perfect way to blend the two. A fun fact about me is that I love hummus!

CURRENT PRESIDENT
Martín Amaya
Hi! I am Martín Amaya, and I am the current head of Caring For Colombia Youth! I have been lucky enough to be working with the Kogi and spreading their message for six years now, and I am so excited to lead new projects that help connect Colombia’s rich native culture to the world. I am a junior at Colegio Los Nogales in the capital city of Bogotá, and I, along with our incredible team of volunteers, aspire to make sure that these voices are heard and that help reaches the communities in need. A fun fact about me is that I love music because of its ability to connect people with a sense of timeless.
